AMART Furniture Stores

AMART Furniture, a leading name in home living, recently opened new stores in Bathurst, Warrawong and Hervey Bay, where the choice of ceiling design was crucial to reflecting their brand identity. To achieve this, AMART partnered with Network Architectural, durlum, Dunrite Linings, DTR Projects, and NAC to create bespoke metal ceilings tailored to their specific vision.

For the Bathurst location, durlum and Dunrite Linings collaborated closely to deliver a ceiling installation that met the project’s tight timelines while maintaining exceptional quality. The Warrawong store, however, required an even more intricate design. durlum provided metal ceiling panels integrated with light infill boxes, which not only created a sleek and seamless look but also accommodated the store’s lighting and sprinkler systems.

Key to the project was ensuring that the distinctive AMART aesthetic, where the furniture harmonises with the ceiling, was achieved. The durlum Geote open cell system was selected for this purpose, allowing customers to see through to the plenum space and creating an open, spacious atmosphere in the store. Additionally, durlum quickly provided colour samples to ensure the blue perimeter, a signature element of AMART’s brand, matched perfectly. To further support AMART, durlum even created a personalised touch-up paint for future needs.

To streamline the installation process, durlum designed panels that fit seamlessly into Rondo’s grid system, eliminating the need for on-site cutting. The collaboration between Network Architectural, durlum, the installers and AMART resulted in a successful project that perfectly aligns with AMART’s brand identity and vision.
