Telstra Data Exchange Waymouth Reclad – National Rollout
Telstra Data Exchange Waymouth Reclad – National Rollout
The Telstra Waymouth project involved the large-scale recladding of an existing telecommunications facility, forming part of Telstra’s ongoing program to modernise critical infrastructure across Australia. Spanning approximately 13,784m², the project required careful planning and coordination to maintain the operational integrity of an active data exchange throughout construction.
The existing façade was replaced with ALPOLIC™ NC/A1, a non-combustible mineral core aluminium cladding solution suitable for essential infrastructure buildings. A varied metallic colour palette was used to articulate the building form, delivering a contemporary exterior while aligning with Telstra’s national design standards.
The completed recladding delivers a significant transformation at scale, marking one of the largest projects within Telstra’s national modernisation program and supporting safety, durability and compliance requirements across Telstra’s portfolio of facilities.
